EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE PURPOSE: To further the mission, goals and activities of MDGLCC.
Chaired by the President and consists of all officers and the immediate
Past President if she or he is on the Board and wishes to participate.

MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE
PURPOSE: Charged with membership retention and recruitment. Identifies
member benefits and as such develops and plans accordingly to offer
members activities and programs to enhance their membership in
MDGLCC. Supports the mission and accomplishments of the Chamber
internally and externally.
EVENTS COMMITTEE
PURPOSE: This committee plans all mixers and general meetings
such as lunches and dinners and generates activities encouraging
networking opportunities for members, as well as encourages social
interaction among the membership.
GALA COMMITTEE
PURPOSE: To plan and coordinate MDGLCC’s annual Gala and
Awards Dinner.
ADVOCACY COMMITTEE
PURPOSE: address legislation and regulations that can positively
or negatively impact LGBT businesses
Chair: Varies by Issue
COMMUNICATIONS COMMITTEE
PURPOSE: Places external news releases and utilizes opportunities
at community events to advertise MDGLCC’s presence. Interfaces
with community publications on behalf of the Chamber (i.e. Newsletters
and collateral material). Creates and administers yearly advertising
budget. Oversee the MDGLCC web site, keeping it up to date and
reflective of the organization and the needs of the membership.
